Boundary Surveys

Boundary surveys, as the name suggests, is the type of survey that formally defines boundaries of a property.  When a boundary survey is requested, the surveyor should carefully research record documents of the subject property, as well as all adjoining properties.  These documents are typically obtained from the office of register of deeds or clerk of court’s office.  Careful inspection of the collected documents can reveal issues with the property lines, such as overlaps, gaps, differing measurements, etc.  The surveyor will be better prepared for the field survey after reviewing the existing deeds and plats of record.  During the field survey, the surveyor will find and measure all property corners, mark the property lines and locate any features crossing or near the boundary lines.  Lucas Land Surveying has many years of experience with boundaries of all shapes and sizes.  If you would like to request a boundary survey, please send Lucas Land Surveying, LLC an email or give us a call for a free estimate.
